(Source: Lehigh University) The Ethics of Death: Religious and Philosophical Perspectives in Dialogue, a new book by Lloyd Steffen and Dennis R. Cooley, explores the moral issues that arise when humans deal with death. It includes chapters on abortion, the death penalty, war, suicide, physician-assisted suicide and euthanasia. Steffen is professor of religion studies, university chaplain and director of the Center for Dialogue, Ethics and Spirituality and the Prison Project at Lehigh.
